“She should have been silent and allowed the (OUR) rape!” These are the words of the rapists of an Indonesian girl who later died because she tried so hard to fight off her attackers.
Although this tragedy did not happen to a loved one of yours, please join me to do what we can to prevent atrocities like this from happening in the future?
Next, consider the recent revealing of hundreds of sexual abuse crimes e.g. Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, George Tillman, USC’s disgusting doctor who molested 100s of women during their GYN visits to him, Larry Nassar, US Olympic doctor who molested approximately hundreds, or Mark Burns(sp?) who put his semen in the frosting of his ‘homemade cookies’ and fed them to his 4th(???)-grade students! All these crimes were created by the perpetrators’ choices!
Next, consider the school shootings in Newtown CT, Parkland FL, Santa Fe TX plus other shootings like Vegas and at the Pulse Club in Orlando not to mention all the people killed in the horrific terrorist attacks that have killed 100s of innocent people.Yet , sadly, not as much is being done that can be done to prevent these crimes!
Did you know 44 people, on the average, are intentionally killed every day and, sadly, 8 of them are children…not to mention all the victims of crimes who are not killed but hurt in many ways? While there are many kinds of crimes…all created by someone’s choice to harm others, let’s look at just one kind: Human trafficking.
Did you know that, according to the National Human Trafficking Hotline, human trafficking has increased 35.7 percent in the US in 2016? Whether the crime is human trafficking or any other kind in which innocent people are killed or severely injured, these tragedies affected the victims’ families forever.
We need to do more than listen to the latest news telling who’s been killed. We Can Do More. Recently one of our leaders here in the USA said: “We must unite to stop these terrorist attacks!” Also, our police chief said: “The Public Must Help Keep LA and America Safe.”
While I have heard many, many times over the years that ‘We need to unite’, I haven’t found anyone leading the effort to organize an effort to do so. Instead, I’ve heard, read, and watched many groups put their energy into ‘fighting for their rights’.
What’s missing is a component that those fighting for their rights are also modeling what they want a.k.a. Be The Change They Want to See in The World. So, after waiting for a long, long time for law enforcement to lead this effort which they didn’t, I began feeling like the man on the escalator, (INSERT PIC of man on escalator). So, I finally started this *Respectful-lution* (INSERT a bit more about it here and a link to my non-profit page.)
Given Public Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility vs the other person’s responsibility, imagine how empowered we good people can feel in our diverse communities across America from California to Colorado, Chicago and Connecticut; from Seattle to San Diego, from Maine to Miami, when we are united mentally to ‘Do No Harm’ while you and I and all of us continue onward with our own lives physically! Sound hard to believe? Call me and I’ll show you how this can be done.
For information about this Respectful-lution or the various workshops I conduct, click on the appropriate tab under the ‘Workshops & Webinars’ tab; then, call me to discuss how I can help you help others to prevent crimes.
For groups who have a complete training program that teaches life skills, the core components of this process can be added as a supplement to any process you teach to your group to prevent abuse so people can be united mentally across groups, diverse communities, and companies. We look forward to you joining our mentally-united team! To learn how, call 949-378-4126 or send me an email
